The Production Base
The largest island and the most production-ready. Teide volcano, the Anaga forest, Masca gorge, the Teresitas black sand beach — extraordinary visual range. Good local crew base and solid equipment rental infrastructure.
Lanzarote
Volcanic Landscapes
César Manrique's island — volcanic lava fields, white architecture, Timanfaya National Park. Lanzarote is particularly popular for automotive shoots. The landscape is genuinely alien and works extremely well on camera.
Gran Canaria
Dunes & Mountains
The Maspalomas dunes in the south, dramatic mountains in the interior, green north coast. The most varied landscape of all the islands and well-connected logistically.
Fuerteventura
Wind & Sand
Long white beaches, constant wind, stark landscapes. Popular for kite surfing and outdoor sports content, and increasingly used for fashion and automotive.

Tenerife and Gran Canaria both have resident professional crew. We supplement from mainland Spain when needed. Island logistics are straightforward with proper planning.

The Canary Islands sit at the same latitude as the Sahara, which explains the light. It's Atlantic rather than Mediterranean — softer, more diffuse, excellent for automotive and fashion in particular. And year-round availability means no seasonal gamble on weather.
The main thing people worry about is the logistics — it's an island, you can't just drive equipment there. We've run enough shoots in the Canaries to have this completely under control. Cargo flights, inter-island transfers, customs — we handle it, you shoot.
Plan for Equipment
Camera and lighting kit needs to travel as freight — 48–72 hours from mainland Spain. We coordinate everything. Source locally in the Canaries where possible.

Permits
National Park permits (Teide, Timanfaya) need lead time — 4–6 weeks. Municipal permits are fast. We start permit applications the moment you confirm.
Year-Round Availability
No weather risk. Shoots that get rained out on the mainland move to the Canaries. It's genuinely spring-like 365 days a year.
