Madrid →

The most permissive major city in Spain for commercial filming. Fast permits, strong infrastructure, crew density. If you're shooting in Spain without a specific location brief, Madrid is the sensible default.

Barcelona →

Incredible locations, trickier permits. The city is worth it — the architecture, the coastline, the light — but the permit process requires a local who knows the system. We do.

Andalucía →

Desert landscapes outside Almería, Moorish architecture in Seville and Granada. Lower costs, less location competition, and permits that often move faster than Madrid. Genuinely unlike anywhere else in Europe.

Valencia →

300+ sunny days, modern architecture, mountains within an hour. Underused by international productions — which means locations aren't overshot and permits are refreshingly straightforward.

Alicante →

Costa Blanca light, dramatic cliff coastlines, white towns, and a very relaxed permit environment. Good for fashion, lifestyle, and anything that needs the Mediterranean without Barcelona's complications.

Canary Islands →

Year-round spring climate, volcanic landscapes, Atlantic light. Tenerife and Lanzarote are used heavily for automotive and international campaigns. The logistics need planning — we've done it enough times to know exactly how.

How a production

International productions come to Spain for the light, the locations and the value. What they don't want is to learn Spanish bureaucracy on the job. That's our part: one local production partner running everything on the ground, from the first budget to the last van back to the rental house.

Producing in Spain: the questions.

What's included in your production service?

Whatever your shoot needs from us: line production, budgeting and scheduling, filming permits, location scouting, crew, equipment, transport, catering, production insurance and post-production. Take the full package or just the parts you're missing.

What's the difference between a line producer and a fixer?

A line producer runs the production — budget, schedule, crew, suppliers, from prep to wrap. A fixer makes things possible on the ground — permits, locations, councils, logistics, problem-solving. On most international shoots in Spain you need both. We do both, with one contact.

How long do filming permits take in Spain?

It depends on the city and the location. Simple public-space permits can take days; central Barcelona, protected heritage sites, beaches or road closures need weeks. Tell us your dates early and we'll tell you honestly what's realistic.

Does the Spanish film tax rebate apply to commercials?

No. Spain's tax incentive for international productions (30% on the first €1M of eligible spend and 25% after that, up to 50% in the Canary Islands) covers features, series, documentaries and animation — not advertising. Spain is still very cost-effective for commercials: competitive crew rates, great light and huge location variety.

Is production insurance included?

Yes. We arrange production insurance so your shoot is covered from day one — equipment, liability and, if needed, cancellation. We'll advise on what your production actually needs.

How does invoicing work for international clients?

One invoice from us. We handle Spanish contracts, social security, tax withholdings and supplier payments, so your accounts team deals with one company, not thirty freelancers.

Do you only produce in Madrid?

No. Madrid is home base, but we produce all over Spain — Barcelona, Andalucía, Valencia, Alicante, the Canary Islands and anywhere else the brief takes you.

Can you handle a small one-day shoot?

Yes. No minimum. A one-day shoot gets the same attention as a three-week campaign.
